The suspect in a murder more than 25 years ago is pleading not guilty.
Gary Schara was indicted last week on murder and other charges in the death of school teacher Lisa Ziegert on April 15th, 1992.
He was arraigned today in Hampden Superior Court.
Authorities say Ziegert was abducted while working her second job at a card shop in Agawam and her body was found four days later in a wooded area.
Schara is being held without the right to bail and will be in court next June for a pre trial conference.
