A Worcester man is in custody without bail after prosecutors say he killed his mother.
John Madulka is charged with murder for the killing of Ellen Madulka, whose body was found in her Bailey Street home on Saturday.
John Madulka reportedly suffers from mental illness, and has been sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
Madulka reportedly told police that he hit his mother in the head repeatedly with a metal stick.
