Clean Up Continues Throughout Region

The clean up continues after the powerful nor'easter that blasted the region.

The state's eastern coast saw flooding that the National Weather  Service says was at the magnitude of the Blizzard of 1978.

In Western Mass, most communities got about a foot of snow.

In Central Mass it was more like 17 inches.

There have been no issues with power remaining on.  However tens of thousands of customers of various electric companies are without power.

Communities  reporting coastal flooding include Boston, Marshfield, Scituate and Quincy.

There have been no injuries reported.
