Man Pleads Not Guilty To Killing Trans Wife

The Berkshire County man accused of  killing his wife is pleading not guilty to the charge.

Mark  Steele-Knudslien  was arraigned on a single count of  murder on Monday in Berkshire Superior Court in connection to last  month's death of Christa Leigh Steele-Knudslien.

Police say Christa was  beaten with a hammer and stabbed in the back in the couple's North  Adams home.

Mark Steele-Knudslien is being ordered held in Berkshire  County jail without bail, pending a trial.
