Longmeadow residents are approving a zoning change to allow a historic mansion to become office space.
The change for the Brewer Young mansion was OK'd by a necessary two-thirds majority during a special town meeting on Thursday.
The 19th-century mansion hasn't been occupied for several years.
Opponents expressed concern that using the building for office space will cause high traffic volume and impact the residential atmosphere of Longmeadow's Town Green.
