Connecticut Governor Expected To Bless Tolls

Governor Dan Malloy is expected to  throw his support behind the possible return of tolls to Connecticut  highways.

Malloy has scheduled a State Capitol event to unveil his  transportation plan today.

The governor is expected to announce support  for electronic tolling on state highways, and an increase in the state  tax on gasoline.

The money raised would go to the Special  Transportation Fund that is used for state infrastructure improvements.
