Lovell Verdict: Not Guilty

The Chicopee man accused of fatally  shooting a teen he said he thought was a burglar is being found not  guilty of manslaughter.

Jeffrey Lovell was found not guilty by Hampden  Superior Court Judge Constance Sweeney on Tuesday.

Lovell admitted to  shooting 15-year-old Dylan Francisco through the front door of his house  in July 2016 but testified that he was afraid that whoever was pounding  on the door was going to kill him or cause severe injury.

Francisco  was reportedly looking for the home of a friend and went to the wrong  house.
