Governor Takes Heat For Barring Media

Governor Charlie Baker is facing  backlash for not allowing the media to attend a Latino advisory  commission.

The commission's recent listening sessions  in Holyoke and Springfield were open to members of the public, but not  to the press.

Critics, including Baker's Democratic opponents in the  2018 governor race, say this was a bad look for transparency and the  First Amendment.
