The driver of a garbage truck involved in a deadly crash in Ware last July, is now charged.
Investigators say James Avila was driving the truck that left the road and hit Stephen Peters of Hardwick, who was working in a yard.
Peters died from his injuries.
Avila, from the Gilbertsville village of Hardwick, is charged with negligent motor vehicle homicide.
He's scheduled for arraignment later this month in Eastern Hampshire District Court.
