Mass Mutual officials are confirming that they are pulling 15 hundred jobs out of the town of Enfield and moving most of the jobs to its corporate headquarters in Springfield.
Officials expect to close the Enfield campus by 2021.
In addition to the moving of jobs, the company also announced a 300 million dollar commitment to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
That includes a 50 million dollar enhancement of the present corporate headquarters on State Street in Springfield.
