South Hadley State Rep John Scibak says that he is retiring from office at the end of the current session.
"This has been the best job in the world and I know that I'll miss it but the time has come for someone else to step forward and share their talent and expertise on behalf of the people of the Second Hampshire District."
Sciback says that he will work hard on behalf constituents between now and the end of the term.
He says he will miss the friendships of people on both sides of the aisle.
