The chair of the state Democratic Party is calling on Governor Charlie Baker to oppose President Trump's proposed budget.
Gus Bickford says Republican Baker cannot ignore proposed deep cuts to programs millions of people rely on including Medicaid, fuel assistance and food stamps.
Bickford calls the proposed budget dangerous and cruel, and says it's time for the governor to break his silence and take a stand for the people of Massachusetts.
