Baystate Franklin Medical Center is saying "no thanks" to an offer from Congressman Jim McGovern to mediate contract talks between the hospital and its nurses.
The nurse union recently authorized a one-day strike.
The Worcester Democrat's office confirmed his willingness to step in on Tuesday.
The two sides are at a standstill after over a year of negotiations.
