It appears the flu is claiming the life of another child in Connecticut.
Six-year-old Emma Splan of Norwalk reportedly died from flu complications on Saturday.
The death was announced yesterday by Columbus Magnet School in Norwalk, where Splan was a first grader.
Ten-year-old Nico Mallozzi of New Canaan died last month from the flu, and his case is the only confirmed juvenile flu death in the state at this time.
