Governor Charlie Baker says there is an opportunity for action on the federal level on gun control.
Baker's comments came yesterday after several days of National Governors Association meetings in Washington.
Baker participated in a group discussion with President Trump and other governors yesterday where guns dominated the agenda.
Baker says he believes the federal assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 should be restored.
