Pot Laws Postponed

The Cannabis Control Commission is limiting the rollout of recreational marijuana sales in July.

The commission voted yesterday to postpone the licensing of home marijuana delivery services and pot lounges for up to a year.

The vote came after Governor Charlie Baker and other leaders urged the panel to delay delivery and social consumption licenses.

Baker says he's pleased the commission is focusing on establishing responsible retail sales before licensing delivery services and cafes.
