Remains Identified As JoAnne Ringer

A year-long missing person case in  Western Massachusetts is over.

The Berkshire District Attorney's Office  says human remains found in Hatfield on Tuesday evening have been  positively identified as those of missing Clarksburg woman Joanne  Ringer.

Ringer was last seen in Clarksburg last March, and her vehicle  was discovered in Easthampton a few days after her disappearance.

Prosecutors say her husband, Charles Reidy, is the prime suspect in  Ringer's death.

Reidy reportedly committed suicide last April.
