Snow has moved its way into the area now.
The National Weather Service expects twelve to 16 inches of heavy snow to fall through Thursday afternoon in Franklin and western Hampden and Hampshire counties, with up to 20 inches expected across higher terrain.
In eastern Hampshire and Hampden counties, the predicted totals are 5 to about 10 inches with some spots getting more.
There are Parking Bans throughout all of western Mass.
Police are reminding you not to impede the plow operation. If you do your car will be towed and police say it is a costly ticket.
