Arrest Made In Gilpin Murder Case

A North Carolina  man is facing a murder charge in connection with the 1986 killing of  15-year-old Tracy Gilpin of Kingston.

Police arrested 61-year-old  Michael Hand at his home Friday, and he is jailed as a fugitive from  justice.

The arrest comes just months after the victim's sister Kerry  Gilpin became head of the Massachusetts State Police.

Hand reportedly  lived in Kingston, which is where the Gilpins lived at the time of  Tracy's disappearance.
