Nor easter Three Continues To Slow Down Region

Western Massachusetts is under a winter storm warning until eight o'clock tonight.  

Heavy snow this afternoon is expected to become lighter and taper off tonight.  

Generally five-to-ten inches of accumulation is expected in parts of the Pioneer Valley.  

Six-to-12 inches is forecast for eastern Berkshire County, and western parts of Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties.  

The Speed Limit on the Mass Pike has been downgraded again to 20 miles per hour.  For a lot of the day it was 40.

Snow totals range from about 4 inches in Springfield to about 12 in Worthington.
