As hundreds of thousands of people took in the St Patrick's Parade in Holyoke, Sunday, a tragic fire in Springfield leaves 3 people dead...four people in the hospital and 80 people left homeless.
Happened at 49 Belmont Avenue Sunday Morning.
Fire Chief BJ Calvi tells WHYN NEWs that the fire began on the second floor of the structure and then quickly spread.
It doesn't appear as if there were any sprinklers inside the structure.
We don't have a cause or a condition update yet on the injured parties.
The Red Cross is helping those who were left homeless.
