A Hadley man is under arrest for an alleged home invasion.
The Sunderland Police Department says Donald Walker was picked up early Sunday morning after he allegedly entered the home of a woman while she was inside.
Police say the woman defended herself and her son with a letter opener.
Walker is being held on 150-thousand dollars cash bail in the Franklin County House of Corrections.
