Springfield's City Council is officially approving another moratorium on recreational marijuana businesses.
The council unanimously voted on Monday to approve the six-month temporary ban, which members say will give the city time to draft local bylaws.
The council originally proposed a yearlong moratorium in January.
The last one was temporary and expired in August of 2017.
