Easter Miracle: St Mary's High Remains Open

Parents and students at Saint Mary's  High School in Westfield are breathing a sigh of relief after it was  announced on Thursday that the school would not be closing after this  school year.

A letter from Springfield Catholic Diocese Bishop Mitchell  Rozanski indicates a one-year, 300-thousand-dollar grant will be  provided to support Saint Mary's for the upcoming fiscal year.

The Saint  Mary's community had rallied to save the school after the original  closing announcement was made earlier this month.
