Springfield Police have said little about the two murders that happened in the city this week.
The latest was a man who was found under a car on Maple Street. Police have not identified the victim but his friends tell our media partner Western Mass News that the man was 24 and was not a bother to anyone.
Police are continuing to investigate the murder of Knox Street earlier in the week. Two people were shot in that case and one of the victims died in the hospital. Three people, including a teen were arrested in that case.
So far there have been three murders this year in the city of Springfield.
