AG Says Pruitt Wrong On Fossil Fuels

Attorney General Maura Healey says  U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has illegally handed over  decision-making to climate deniers and fossil-fuel lobbyists.

She's  reacting to Pruitt's announcement the agency will rollback federal  limits on greenhouse gas emissions from cars and light-duty trucks.

The  AG says the rollback will leave the public with dirtier air and higher  gasoline prices.

Last June, Healey and 13 other attorney generals  threatened Pruitt with legal action if he moved forward with a roll back  on federal emission limits.
