Police are looking into a double-shooting that left one person dead in Palmer.
A 21-year-old woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield after she reportedly told authorities her boyfriend had accidentally shot her while unloading his gun at a home on Saturday night in the city's Thorndike section.
Police say they found a 24-year-old man outside of the residence who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
