Third Casino In Connecticut In Doubt

The future of a proposed East Windsor  casino isn't set in stone.

Yesterday the state attorney general said  that the proposal by tribes that run Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun to expand  into East Windsor  could cost the state.

He said opening a casino off tribal land without  the Bureau of Indian Affair's approval could threaten a lucrative slot  machine cost-sharing agreement for Connecticut.

It isn't known if the  casino will open as scheduled later this year.
