The estranged husband of ex-Massachusetts Senate President Stan Rosenberg appears in court today.
Bryon Hefner will be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court on sexual assault, distributing nude photos without permission and lewdness.
Several men have come forward claiming Hefner abused them, many with ties to the State House.
Hefner is accused of claiming he could influence Senate decisions through his husband.
Rosenberg stepped down as Senate President when the allegations surfaced, and is reportedly separated from Hefner.
An independent investigation to decide if Rosenberg broke any senate rules continues.
