More details are emerging in the deadly shooting of Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon last month.
Gannon was searching the attic of a home in Marstons Mills for the second time April 12th when he noticed a hole covered by insulation in a closet.
When he moved the insulation Gannon was shot and killed, allegedly by the target of the search, Thomas Latanowich.
Latanowich was taken into custody at the scene and is charged with murder.
