Stop & Shop is voluntarily recalling 16-ounce packages of Private Brand Broccoli Cuts.
The supermarket chain says it pulled the product off shelves when it was notified by the supplier that it could be contaminated with Listeria bacteria.
The recalled broccoli, with a sell date of March 15th, 2020, can be returned for a refund.
The packages will include the UPC Code of 68826700926
Listeria can cause fever, stiff neck, weakness, vomiting and miscarriages, but there have been no reports of illnesses associated with the recall.
