UMass Professors Speak Out On Mt Ida Sale

University of Massachusetts Boston  faculty and students are speaking out about campus debt.

They want the  Board of Trustees to work with the Legislature to get debt relief for  the campus without cutting any programs.

Protestors also demand the  board support a Senate amendment that would have a commission review  past construction project debts at UMB.

Those speaking out want to  ensure Mount Ida College program are not in direct competition with  University of Massachusetts Boston.

The Attorney General has looked at the sale and ruled that there was nothing wrong with the sale because the sale was for fair market value.
