Sox Cleared Of Wrongdoing In Suit

The Boston  Red Sox are not being held responsible by a jury in a civil case filed  by a woman injured by a foul ball in 2014.

The civil jury in Suffolk  Superior Court found yesterday that the team and principal owner John  Henry were not negligent.

Stephanie Taubin was seated behind home plate  at a Red Sox game in June of 2014 when she was hit in the face with a  foul ball.

She had filed a suit against the team for 9 and a half million dollars.

The ball strike caused facial fractures and neurological  damage.
