Baker Says State Has No "Separated" Immigrant Kids

Governor Charlie Baker says he's not  aware of any children separated from their families at the southern  border being housed in the state.

Baker says he is continuing to  encourage people to come together and address issues surrounding  immigration and separation of families and children.

He also says the  federal government needs to come up with a policy quickly to deal with  the kids and families that have been separated over the last few  months.

Meantime, Connecticut officials are still looking at the numbers.

New York officials say there are more than 70 such kids in their system.
