Chicopee Police say it was a dangerous situation and it was all a hoax.
Now a 29 year old man has been arrested on charges that he phoned a false active shooter situation at a local bar, into police.
Spokesman Mike Wilk says that every available officer in Chicopee responded to the call last night.
Joshua Santiago will be arraigned on a variety of charges later today in district court.
Wilk tells us that it appears that Santiago pulled the prank because a bartender refused to serve him.
