The Hampden District Attorney office is suggesting an upcoming indictment for the man whose home was the site of the discovery of several bodies earlier this year is close at hand.
Stewart Weldon will be indicted in Hampden Superior Court next month on kidnap and sexual assault charges, prosecutors said in District Court on Tuesday.
Those cases are separate from the one police are still investigating, involving the discovery of the remains of three women at Weldon's home on Page Boulevard in East Springfield.
Weldon has not been charged in that case or even been named a suspect.
