Hate Crimes Spike Across Nation

Hate crimes are up in the nation's ten largest cities.

The Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism found that reported Hate  crimes jumped more than 12 percent in major population centers in  2017.

It's the fourth year in a row the numbers have been on the rise.

The targets of Hate  crimes vary depending on where you live.

In New York, almost half of reported incidents were  against Jewish people.

In Boston, it was African Americans and in Los  Angeles, homosexuals.
