Hefner Pleads Guilty To Pranking Hospital

The former Massachusetts Senate President  and Amherst Democrat Stan Rosenberg's husband is pleading guilty to  making prank phone calls.  

Bryon Hefner was arraigned in Concord  District Court on several counts of making annoying phone  calls and criminal harassment.  

Prosecutors say Hefner called staff  members while he was a patient at the McLean Hospital facility in  Lincoln by using internet websites. 

As part of the plea deal, Hefner  was sentenced to one year of probation.
