Pot Store Another Step Closer

Springfield  City Council members are moving forward with recommended regulations  for retail marijuana.

A proposal to have up  to 15 marijuana retailers in the city was approved by the council on  Tuesday.

The proposal also includes a list of 50 streets where the  shops can operate.

City Council President Orlando Ramos says the city's  zoning board will review the proposal, and the council will then make a  final decision next month.
