Rail traffic from Springfield to Connecticut is being impacted by construction this weekend.
CTRail and Amtrak will be putting passengers on buses so crews can install a second set of rails between Hartford and Windsor, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
CTRail and most Amtrak service between New Haven and Hartford will be served by trains as scheduled.
CTRail is also switching to a new schedule starting next week to accommodate continuing track work, the department said on Wednesday.
