Table Leg Death Case Concludes With Jail Time

A Springfield  woman whose husband was accused of beating a man to death with a table  leg is pleading guilty in connection to the case.

Ivey  Johnson of Springfield  entered the plea on an involuntary manslaughter charge in Hampden  Superior Court on Tuesday and was sentenced to two years in state  prison.

Johnson was not alleged to have taken part in the beating of  Eric Stephenson.

Her husband, Richard Page, pleaded guilty last  November to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 11 to 12  years.
