A former Massachusetts state trooper is facing a federal indictment in the growing department overtime scandal.
Daren DeJong of Uxbridge is now under indictment on one count of embezzlement from an agency receiving federal funds.
DeJong is accused of collecting thousands of dollars in overtime pay for hours he did not work.
More than 40 current or former troopers are either charged or under investigation in connection with the scandal.
