A Southampton woman is suing the town and the utility Eversource after she said a falling tree branch injured her two-year-old child.
Erica Menard was driving on Fomer Road on March 22nd, 2017 when a tree limb entered the SUV, according to a complaint filed last week in Hampshire Superior Court.
Menard claims Southampton and Eversource did not adequately maintain a tree on a public roadway.
Neither the company nor the town have commented.
