Pharmacy Visit Could Be Cheaper

When you go into your local pharmacy for a prescription, it may actually be easier and cheaper.

Bills sponsored by Maine Senator Susan Collins  are now heading to President Trump.

Both pieces of legislation put a  ban on so-called "gag clauses" that don't allow pharmacists to tell  customers about the lowest drug prices.

Those provisions are put in  contracts by either insurance companies or benefits managers.

The  president is expected to sign both bills.
