They have been dismantling the old Mount Tom Power Plant.
Now comes word that the city of Holyoke will team up with Engie International to create the state's largest solar farm....some 17 thousand solar panels to be installed.
It was back in 2014 when the company took control of the facility.
They plan to demolish and implode existing smokestacks but there is no indication as to when that is going to happen.
