Absentee ballots for the November 6th election are now available in every city and town in Massachusetts.
They may be requested from a voter's local election officials by mail, fax or email, as long as a written signature is visible. Applications are available on the secretary of state's web site.
Secretary of State William Galvin says anyone seeking an absentee ballot should apply as soon as possible, to allow time for it to be mailed to them and sent back to their city or town hall by election day.
