CVS Says Aetna Will Stay Where It Is

Good News for Connecticut as a major employer isn't going anywhere.

CVS Health is committing to keep  Aetna based in Hartford for at least the next decade.

CVS has informed  the state Insurance Department of the commitment as part of its purchase  of the Hartford insurance giant.

CVS also pledges not to reduce  Aetna's workforce for at least the next four years, and to honor the  company's existing philanthropic agreements.

Governor Dan Malloy says  Hartford has been Aetna's home since 1853 and he's pleased that is going  to continue.
