More Concerns About City Courthouse

Concerns about possible environmental  problems at the State Street courthouse in Springfield are being  shared.

The Springfield Republican reports a memo was sent by State  Trial Court officials last week to all courthouse employees from state  court system officials about non-specific concerns, but says air, water  and surface tests will all be conducted.

Longtime District Court Judge  William Boyle, who recently retired, and his late predecessor, Robert  Kumor, were both diagnosed with ALS disease; doctors reportedly told  Boyle the chances of both of them coming down with ALS was highly  unlikely.
