It was an early start to the day for Springfield Firefighters called to the North End of Springfield to knock down a structure fire on Main Street.
Officials say seven people have been left homeless after the fire struck 419 Main Street.
One firefighter was being treated for smoke inhalation.
Fire Department spokesman Dennis Leger tells us that the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
