East Hartford could soon be the new home of a production center for Coca-Cola.
The bottling company announced this week it plans to invest more than 64-million-dollars total in a production center and new sales center.
The move comes as Coca-Cola tries to shift operations away from its Massachusetts facility by the end of the year.
500 people are employed at the facility.
Governor Baker hasn't commented on losing its Coca Cola connection.
